I began working in photography in 1962, as a film processor at a custom photo lab in New York City. The lab processed film and made prints to be used in magazines and journals. I learned photography from such notable photographers as, Lou Reames, Alexander George and Fritz Henle. During the early seventies I also worked as an assistant to the official U.N. photographer Leo Rosenthal.

Leaving New York City, I worked for the U.S. Forest Service in California, and Oregon. Always ready with a camera to capture the unusual picture of the Oregon and California coasts or the dense forests of Oregon. I retired in 2002 from the Sequoia National Forest and moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas. I have spent several months reviewing and scanning several thousand color slides into digital files some of which are on display here, on the web at AmericanFrame.com, at the Wishing Spring Gallery, Bella Vista, Arkansas, and at Poor Richard's Art, in Rogers, Arkansas.

I also create web sites for artist and crafts people along with advertising brochures, samples of which you may view at: http://www.thatgallery.net/webdesigns
